Dried guava leaves (Psidium guajava) are a time-honored herbal remedy widely used across Asia for their broad therapeutic properties. In Vietnam, guava trees are abundantly cultivated in the Mekong Delta (Western provinces) and the Northern regions. While growers primarily harvest guava fruit during the main season, the leaves are collected post-season and processed into dried medicinal herbs, making each batch a seasonal, naturally sourced product.
Our dried guava leaves are cleaned of stems and free from foreign matter. We offer two processing grades to meet different buyer requirements. Sun-dried leaves have a darker appearance and are processed in larger single batches, making turnaround time shorter and volume output higher per cycle. Oven-dried (kiln-dried) leaves have a cleaner appearance and more consistent color, though batch sizes are smaller due to kiln capacity, resulting in longer lead times.
Dried guava leaves are widely recognized in folk medicine and increasingly validated by modern research. Packaging specification: 40 kg per PP woven bag, bag dimensions approximately 140 x 70 x 50 cm. Based on supplier experience, approximately 50 bags can be loaded per 20-foot container, equivalent to approximately 2 metric tons per 20ft container.
